The past three years have seen major shifts due to COVID, government bans, and product shortages, but what happened in 2023?

This is the 10th year IPVM has tracked manufacturers gaining and losing:

From 2014 - 2016, IPVM accurately tracked the rise of Chinese manufacturers, led by Hikvision. In 2017 - 2019, due to cybersecurity issues and government bans, results showed that stopping and reversing. 2020 - 2021 showed the impact of COVID and the US ban on Hikvision and Dahua, and last year, the impact of mass product shortages.
